
LONDON (AFP) - South Africa reached 25 for one in their first innings against England at tea on the second day of the first Test at The Oval on Friday.
The South Africans lost Alviro Petersen for a duck as they started their reply to England's first innings total of 385 all out.
Graeme Smith was 14 not out and Hashim Amla 10 not out.
