The embattled Chief Executive of the National Sports Authority, Worlanyo Agrah, has confirmed his exit from the sports regulatory outfit.

Mr. Agrah has been in the news since the Maputo All Africa Games last year which saw Ghana absent from the opening and closing ceremonies.

The Committee set up by the Ministry of Youth and Sports chaired by Nii Adotey Din Barima indicted him and his Chief Development Officer, Erasmus Adorkor of countless offenses including the loss of US$32,000.

Citifmonline.com's  investigations revealed that Mr. Agrah will hand over to the Ministry. Confirming his exit he said, 'I have attained my retirement age and there is no way I'd return to the NSA.'

Mr. Agrah's reign had also seen an ongoing cold war with the President of the Ghana Olympic Committee, Prof. Francis Dodoo which had also led to the interruption in the planning of the nation's team for the 2012 London Olympics.
