
NPP Parliamentary candidate for the Dome-Kwabenya constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo has launched her campaign.
Party bigwigs including former President John Agyekum Kufuor and flag bearer, Nana Akufo-Addo were among the dignitaries who thronged the Dome Kwabenya constituency to support their parliamentary candidate.
Adwoa Safo, who was elected in a highly competitive parliamentary primaries, says the campaign launch will help boost the morale of the foot soldiers to commit themselves to a vigorous campaign ahead of election 2012.
She told Joy News' Dzifa Bampoh she will be part of the team controlling the common fund and can decide which areas to channel resources to for the development of the constituency.
Bampoh said hundreds of NPP supporters defied the rains and trooped to the Taifa park to support the NPP candidate.
The aspiring MP also said her constituency is facing challenges in education, infrastructural development and women empowerment and believes that if elected she will be able to liaise with the municipal executives for the development of the constituency.
