Sunyani (B/A), June 27, GNA – The Police in Sunyani is working to unravel the mystery surrounding the death of a young man at a prestigious hotels in Sunyani.
The police in the early hours of Tuesday June 26, 2012, retrieved the body of one Henry Armah, believed to be in his 40's, which was found hanging on a ceiling fan in one of the rooms at the hotel.
The body has since been deposited at the regional hospital in Sunyani.
Detective Inspector Jacob Atampuri, head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Sunyani Municipal Police Command told newsmen on Wednesday that the police suspects suicide.
He said information gathered from the hotel indicates that the deceased booked the facility on the night of Monday June 25, this year.
Detective Atampuri said the police found some receipts on the deceased which revealed that he had changed some currencies from a Forex bureau at Labadi, in Accra.
He appealed to the general pubic to help the police with information about the deceased as well as tracing his relatives.
