Diamond Jubilee of Asafotufiami @ Marked

A colorful display to officially marked the 75th Anniversary of the diamond jubilee annual Asafotu fiami festival of the chiefs and people of Ada.

As part of the celebration, the festive would embark on clean/up exercise, boat cruise to azizanya, exhibition, durbar, miss asafotufiami and fashion show,church service and community football match etc.

The Asafotujiami or Divisional Musketry firing is essentially a war festival, by it the Ada's have been commemorating the ancuit wars of their ancestors fought primarily to Safe-guard the Ada State that they had toil to established for themselves and their generations to come.

It is therefore proper and fitting that we should honour them all, both those who fell in battle, and those who returned home victorious, with this annual celebration in their memory.

Nii Lante reiterated the fact that Ghana as a whole is acclaimed internationally as one of the most peaceful country in Sub-Sahara Africa now, if not in the whole world, despite a few localized incidents here and there once a while and to add that Ada has never suffered any political violence throughout all the political history of Ghana.

In his keynote address to officially launch the 75th diamond jubilee of Asfotufiami festival Nene Tsatsu Pediator IV noted that in the republic of Ghana at present the most peaceful place is the Ada Traditional Area, and have never heard of any turbulent upby one group or township or clan rising against the yes, but pariently subject all to the due legal process for peaceful solution, Land disputes go to court or elders arbitrates peacefully. He extended invitations to whatever political parties either CPP, PPP, NDC, NPP, and t he current ruling national democratic congress to come and declare their campaigon messages because the chiefs and people of Ada don't quarrel with any political party and qware that election 2012 has started moving, and it will travel smoothly and safely on Ada soil to 7th December, 2012.

Nene Tsatsu Pediator IV Encourage the youth of Ada for not allowing themselves to be pushed into any acts that disturb peace in Ada. It has never happened, and hope to keep the record to potitical party sanity and political paty sanity, Ada is sure to outline all political parties” he Stressed .
