NDC USAs Press Statement Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of National Democratic Congress.
10.06.2012 LISTEN

The NDC USA chapter congratulates the entire rank and file of the National Democratic Congress on the occasion of its 20th Anniversary. We salute Ghanaians for voting the NDC to power on three occasions, and declare that the NDC will never let the people of Ghana down. The record of NDC led governments on sustainable development that addresses social inequity and justice remains unequalled and indisputable. The Mills administration for example in just three and a half years of rule have established two universities, renovated and revamped countless senior secondary schools and built more than two thousand elementary schools.

Regarding the nation's health sector the NDC led government has ensured that many of the regional hospitals are now equipped with the latest diagnostic technology such as MRI scanners, thus increasing the reliability of diagnosis and improving the quality of health care.

The current administration's record on managing the economy is also outstanding and excellent, as evident in the consistently stable economic indicators, double digit economic growth, and a continuing trend of Ghana as an investment destination for foreign investment.

In the past Ghana developed an unfortunate reputation as a country where international narcotics criminal enterprises were cuddled or at least tolerated. The NDC USA is encouraged that this reputation is currently, history as a result of the efforts of the Mills led administration.

We are confident that as a result of the sterling and impressive record the good people of Ghana will return the NDC led administration and a clear majority of NDC's parliamentarians to power during the 2012 national elections. We wish all a happy anniversary. LONG LIVE NDC! LONG LIVE GHANA! EYE ZU! EYE ZA!

Signed
