The Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) is delighted at the emphatic victory registered by the Black Stars on Friday. The PFAG sends its congratulations to Coach Kwesi Appiah on his first competitive victory as substantive coach. The association also congratulates the performance of the playing body and urges them to remain focused on the task ahead.
Reiterating what the PFAG's General Secretary, Anthony Baffoe said when the leadership met the players in Accra, the association believes that the cohesion that the boys showed if maintained will carry us a long way.
The Association notes with delight the professionalism with which the Stars handled the disruption to the match and is convinced that with that kind of intensity and single-mindedness, the sky is the limit.
The road to Brazil has begun with this big step but there are many more required.
