Comparison between man and termites is like devil vs. divine

Everyone knows about 'termite mound' and many would have seen it also. Some would have wondered how the tiny termites would have built such a huge mound. What many would not have asked or thought about is whether the tiny termites also know how to destroy the 'termite mound'.

A tiny insect – termites only knows to build the mound and never knows how to destroy it. The mound is build to live and protect them and hence they never know to destroy them. But how quickly, we pass our judgment about termites as the 'destroyers of the modern world'.

From the point of view of termites, they eat only what is 'scientifically considered as dead' like dead wood, snag in the forest etc. No live tree/plant or wood, termites are ever known to have eaten or destroyed in nature. They go after only the dead trees and cellulose substrates. Think about man, who knows to live only by 'crushing' death of the wonderful nature, flora and fauna.

Is life possible for man on earth without killing 'plants' or 'animals'? But termites never kill a life but live out of what is dead in nature. The intent of the article is not to have termites in your office, residential areas and elsewhere and allow them to destroy all your precious wood works and other valuable things.

But think 'spiritually' and 'philosophically' about your actions versus how the tiny termites conduct themselves in nature. Another beauty of termites is that they even supports yet other tiny microbes in their gut to live and co-exist with them. Only the tiny microbes help the termites to digest the cellulose they eat.

Are we really aware of the termites and have we ever understood or compared them with human beings. The problem is in the misinterpretation and re-interpretation of man about the nature.

Termites are 'true creators in nature'. They only know to build huge mounds but never know how to destroy them. Nor termites know to kill or destroy anything that is live. Termites do not just support some other life forms; they have established an 'indispensable partnership' with them. Let man reflect about 'himself' in comparison with termites.

The strange truth is that the weight of the total termites on earth is reported to overweigh the weight of all human beings.

Corporate and its employees must quickly get the following messages from termites

1. Do not try to script your success by killing others (boss-subordinates or among peer groups)

2. Do share and accommodate the art of co-existence

3. Before passing comments or judgments about others, reflect your 'self'

4. Your life become worth living if you follow the above three fundamental laws

Learn from nature, let your endless learning lead you to success.
