The spokesperson of former President Rawlings has served notice that they will crush all saboteurs who attempt to ruin this year's June 4 celebrations scheduled for Aflao in the Volta region.
Kofi Adams says they are well informed that some government officials are mobilizing people from the Greater Accra region and Ho in the Volta region to disrupt this year's celebrations.
Speaking in an interview with Citi News, Mr Adams said persons who have no role to play at the event should stay home or face their wrath if they attempt to ruin the 33rd anniversary of the June 4th uprising.
'We are very much aware that Government officials are mobilizing some persons from Accra and Ho to go and misbehave at the function but what I want to tell these persons is to just stay home if they don't intend to participate as believers in the ideals of June 4th.
'If they no longer believe in it they have a right to stay home but not to mobilize people to come and misbehave or they will face the wrath of the good people of this country and that I assure them' Kofi Adams said.
Mr. Adams' comments come after the Chiefs and People of the Aflao Traditional Area in a statement rejected the use of their area for this year's June 4 celebrations.
According to them, allowing the use of their area for such a political programme will prevent developmental projects earmarked for the area by the NDC government.
But Kofi Adams in a response said it is saddening that the Chiefs have allowed themselves to be used by some NDC appointees.
He told Joy News that the event will still come off on Sunday June 3 as planned at the Victoria Park.
