Expecting Normality in Turbulent Times

Expecting Normality in Turbulent Times
30.05.2012 LISTEN

Conducting Opinion Polls during revolutions is akin to expecting a housewife to cook best meals during a family crisis. Trauma renders the normal absurd. To expect constitutional finesse in a time of legal doldrums when subtle forces are at play is like expecting farmers to work the fields during torrential rains. To impeach a president from a majority in parliament when the judiciary chooses immorality over ethics is to push a granite wall with the little finger. Gross forces show crass activity while subtle revolutions can be more powerful and almost imperceptible. The times are changing when incoming new wine cannot fit into old wine skins. Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj said in 1974 that he could see the dawn of the Golden Age (Sat Yuga). The Mayan civilization could not see beyond 2012 so their calendar ended in 2012. Transition from the moral depravity and darkness of the Iron Age to the light of spirituality and ethics of the Golden Age is upon us as a flood that breaks down the sandbag walls of social impropriety.

“My mummy is the best cook in the world” is an advert of a young boy on TV. Last year came and went with prophets of all shades struggling to convince us that the world would end last year. We are all still here even though we have been to some funerals. For the dead, the world ended. The sages tell us that time is an illusion. Predictions, forecasts and schedules are time management tools we employ as aids in our drive to achieve goals. Time seems very real as we move from morning to afternoon and evening, day after day, but events which are time related tend to change, giving us the various seasons. We can measure time in milliseconds but the courses of events change with time. Murphy's Law says “whatever can go wrong will go wrong” one day.

It may not be easy to place Opinion Polls in the same category as children touting the culinary expertise of their mothers and the predictions of false prophets, but they are all opinions. A book entitled “How to lie with Statistics” by Darrell Huff in 1954 opens a new world in which what is said on authority could be very far from the truth. Philosophical discourses pointing out the fallacy of the undistributed mean is the bane of petty politicians grieving the loss of their loots of temporary toys. Extrapolation from small samples may not necessarily represent reality in whole populations.

Predictions and forecasts are extrapolations into future time. A prophecy is a view of a future event brought into the present. Events of the future and those of the present are like two sets of events. We may know some of the present events and not know others. We may be reasonably certain of some future events, doubt the possibility of others and be completely unaware of others that may show up. These form subsets both in the Present and Future domains. These imply the sets of events have non-empty intersections meaning some things carry from the present into the future. The unknowns can become un-knowable in the near future but can become known in the distant future. Opinion polls are attempts to study current events and extrapolate and extend them into the future. Diligence and sincerity of data collection and analysis using the proper tools of Statistical Analysis determine the reliability and validity levels of the study. Interpretations may however be coloured in the fanciful wishes of interested parties.

A time, some two thousand years ago, brought the worship of God through the Lord Jesus Christ. One characteristic of that period was reference to fishes and fishermen. One of the preachers in this tradition, Levi H. Dowling, saw the need to write a book entitled “The Aquarian Age Gospel of Jesus, the Christ of the Piscean Age.” This book which was downloaded from the Akashic records anticipated a time called the Aquarian age when the gospel of Jesus Christ would see some modifications and variations from the gospel of the Jesus Christ of the Piscean age. The ages, like that of Pisces (Fish) and Aquarius (Water bearer) are names of time periods according to astrological measurements of constellations. Other traditions talk about the Golden Age, Silver Age, Copper Age and Iron Age. As times change, old wisdom must be expressed in new ways. Various ages, seasons and times are cycles and have their own characteristics. Winter time in the northern hemisphere is cold but is rather hot and dusty (harmattan season) in West Africa. No two cycles are exact replicas of each other and transition times are turbulent with fast changes. The transition is not over until it is over and any prediction of what to expect the next moment is like groping in the dark.

The boundary of Physics is expanding more into Metaphysics with experiments to measure the God particle. Lyall Watson published a book entitled “Supernature: A Natural History of the Supernatural”, which showed experiments in Biology of plants and animals reacting to destructive human thoughts and actions from afar. “The old order seems to be changing, yielding place to the new, for God to fulfill himself in many ways, lest one good custom should corrupt the world”, courtesy Lord Tennyson's poem on Arthur's death. The sages say that the only thing we can be sure about is that something will always change, especially during the cusp of the ages.

This period of the Arab Spring, Euro zone financial crisis and quantitative easing (a.k.a. inflationary money printing) in advanced economies has also brought in Wiki leaks and a flurry of theories on the end of the Mayan calendar in 2012. New terms have been coined about Indigo, Rainbow and Crystal children incarnating on earth, some coming here for the first time from source, to anchor new energies on earth, raise vibrations and render service in fearlessly new ways.

A quotation from:-http://www.angeltherapy.com/article1.php says:

“The older children (approximately ages 7 through 25), are called "Indigo Children."

They share some characteristics with the Crystal Children. Both generations are highly sensitive and psychic, and have important life purposes. The main difference is their temperament. Indigos have a warrior spirit, because their collective purpose is to smash down old systems that no longer serve us. They are here to quash government, educational and legal systems that lack integrity. To accomplish this end, they need tempers and fiery determination.”

Matias De Stefano, a 22 or 23 year old Argentinean boy with total recall of his previous work with Akashic records has a new angle to expectations for this period. This is a period of flux where old systems cannot be expected to project very well into the future. Some refer to this period as a change of cycles in astronomy known as the Precession of the Equinoxes. This cycle has been calculated to be about 26,000 years. Opinion polls based on old paradigms to predict election results could be very flawed as the inbuilt parameters may need to be changed very frequently.

The expectation for us is to rather focus on whatever we can do to the glory of God and the benefit of humanity. The mystic poet, Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj has written: “This inconstant world has changed its hues many a time; My forehead continues to be bowed at your threshold, O Lord. Humility would give us the flexibility to weather the subtle storms of the present.
