Accra, May 20, GNA - The Ghana Meteorological Agency says the strong winds and rain that swept through coastal areas of Ghana yesterday blew in from Benin and Nigeria and that although it was moderate whilst blowing in, it had gathered momentum, with the speed going up to 50knots as it entered Ghana.
From Accra, it headed westwards to Cape Coast and Takoradi and out towards to neighbouring Ivory Coast.
