First Lady inspects schools under Early Childhood Education

The First Lady was accompanied by Ms Sharon Bar-Li, Ambassador of the State of Israel in Ghana.

The project which was launched about three years ago by the government as part of the Education Strategy Plan (ESP) is aimed at improving upon education through ECE with the objective of implementing it in all the public schools in the country.

Earlier, the inspection took the First Lady and her entourage to the Asem M/A Cluster of Schools and the Dompoase M/A Kindergarten.

Speaking to the media after her inspection, Dr Naadu Mills reiterated the need for implementing the project to all public schools to enhance effective early childhood education in the country.

She expressed her appreciation to the Israeli government for the support and fr partnering the government for the promotion of education in the country.

Ms Sharon Bar-Li stressed the need and commitment to partner the Government of Ghana to promote ECE to enhance quality education in the country.

They were accompanied by Dr Kwaku Agyeman Mensah, Ashanti Regional Minister and his deputy, Madam Animah Wilson and Mr Samuel Sarpong, Chief Executive of Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA).
