The Parliamentary Candidate for the Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) for the Salaga Constituency in the 2008 Elections, Mahama John Shirazu popularly known as Malaysia has commended the Northern regional communication team of the NPP for their commitment and hard work towards the party's victory, come December 7, 2012.
Mr. Mahama Shirazu described members of the northern regional team of the NPP as gallant 'political soldiers' whose contributions is winning more souls for the NPP in the region.
Mr. Maham who has since defected to the NPP made these observations when he donated strong satellite decoders and its accessories to the northern regional communication team of the NPP to enhance their activities in the region.
According to Malaysia some constituencies in the region have already benefitted from this kind gesture and they include; Salaga, Kpandai, Tamale North, Damongo, Yapei/Kusawgu and Sawla/ Tuna Kalba constituency. He also promises to help the other remaining constituencies in the region.
The Northern regional communications director of the NPP, Abudu Abdul Ganiu who received the donation on behalf of the team thanked Mr. Mahama Shirazu and urged him to continue the good work he has been doing for the NPP. Mr. Ganiu also assured the donor that the items has come at the appropriate time and would be put to good use.
Present at the presentation ceremony were Mohammed Abdul Kudus, Sule Salifu, Ishaque Abdul Lateef, Salifu Baba SSB and Fredrick Abukari Tahiru, all members of the northern regional communication management team. The rest are Umar Mohammed Anyass Gazalli assistant secretary for Tamale Central Constituency and Abdallah Badawi, a member of Kandaha Boys.
