Wassaman improved their chances of beating off relegation in the Glo Premier League after defeating Mighty Jets, also struggling to avoid the drop on Sunday.
The Tarkwa side won 2-1 at the T&A Park and the result leaves Wassaman, Bechem and Jets on level points, 26 apiece with two games remaining.
Rafael Obeng gave the Wassaman the lead before an own goal by Isaac Nartey gave them a 2-0 lead in the 47th minute.
Mighty Jets fought back and were rewarded when Isaac Klevor pulled a goal back.
However, Jets failed to find the equaliser and have the remaining games to save their campaign in the top flight.
