Takoradi, May 12, GNA – Mrs. Gladys Ansah, Managing Director of Akorma Plaza, hotel, on Saturday called for support for women to enable them to meaningfully contribute to national development.
She said: “Over the years, women have held the fort both at the home and national level,” and their contribution to the growth of the family undoubtedly has culminated into the positive development of the country.
Mrs Ansah in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on the Mother's day celebration, said womanhood was a great asset to the country.
She said after completing middle school, she partnered her mother in fish mongering business, and advised parents to involve their children in their vocations.
