The much anticipated delegates congress of the Conventions Peoples Party is underway at the Esipong stadium in the Western region.
Over two thousand delegates have gathered at the stadium in Tarkoradi to elect a flagbearer for the party.
The congress is a heated contest between lawyer Bright Akwetey and the party's 2008 running mate Dr. Abu Sakara.
Joy News' Western regional correspondent, Ebenezer Afenyi Dadzie reports that delegates are currently going through the registration process for the congress to commence.
