KANO, Nigeria (AFP) - A gun and bomb attack on church services at a Nigerian university has left around 20 people dead, an AFP correspondent at the scene reported.

The AFP reporter saw six bullet-riddled corpses at one location near where services were being held. Later, a pile of at least a dozen bodies could be seen behind the university, though the correspondent could not get close enough to count them. Officials were not yet confirming any casualty figures.
