
Three security officers were Friday afternoon killed in a car crash at Elubo in the Western Western.
The incident occurred when the vehicle in which they were travelling, ran into another vehicle parked on the shoulders of the road and caught fire immediately.
A witness told Adom News that, the three officers; a Customs officer and two Immigration Service personnel, were heading towards Takoradi in a Benz vehicle with registration number GE 5004-10 when the incident occurred. The car hit a vehicle parked on the road and ran into a ditch before catching fire.
According to the witness, one of the immigration officers who died in the accident is a female, while the vehicle was being driven by the customs officer.
The corpses have since been sent to a morgue while investigations have begun to establish the cause of the accident.
