By Myjoyonline.com | Joy news

The Inspector General of Police Paul Tawiah Quaye is expected to brief the nation on the state of Ghana's security in the run up to the election on Wednesday.

Mr Paul Tawiah Quaye will today host the Interior Minister William Kwasi Aboah where the briefing would be done.

The IGP is also expected to use the opportunity to speak to the myriad of violence that has characterized the ongoing nationwide biometric registration exercise.

Acting Police Public Affairs Director DSP Cephas Arthur told Joy News his boss will also comment on recent alleged war declaration by New Patriotic Party firebrand Kennedy Agyapong.

“The Inspector General of Police will use the opportunity that the visiting Honourable Interior Minister will offer to make some statements on the ongoing biometric registration exercise, the general security situation in the country and then assure the public about police operations, what we are doing for the general elections,” he said.
