Lashibi, April 16, GNA – Mr. Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development and parliamentary candidate for Tema West, on Sunday registered at the Regimanuel Gray Registration Centre at Community 19.
Mr. Ofosu-Ampofo appealed to Ghanaians to bear with the Electoral Commission (EC) for its operational challenges such as the frequent breakdown of some of its machines.
He said operational challenges were inevitable since this is the first time the EC was undertaking the biometric voter registration exercise.
After registering, the Minister and his entourage visited five other centres in the constituency where he commended the officials for their zeal, commitment and dedication to duty.
