Sefwi-Wuruwuru, April 11, GNA - A 26-year-old woman, Gladys Arthur, is in the grips of Sefwi-Wiawso Police for inflicting deep cutlass wounds on her husband, Kojo Adu, 45.
The Sefwi-Wiawso Divisional Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police Raymond Kofi Erzuah, told the GNA in an interview, on Wednesday, that the incident happened on April 7.
He said the victim was beating his wife and in an attempt to save herself Gladys inflicted cutlass wounds on him.
DSP Erzuah said the victim was taken to the Sefwi-Wiawso Government Hospital but was transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
The couple has been married for four years and have two children.
