Former Director of the Bureau of National Investigations, Kofi Bentum Quantson has discounted claims that only opposition elements can work against governments.
Mr. Quantson, also a former Executive Secretary of the Narcotics Control Board insisted anybody including persons who occupy positions in an incumbent government can work against the system.
Mr. Quantson made this disclosure when he appeared as a guest on Multi TV's current affairs programme, pm: EXPRESS personality profile.
“Everyone can harm government; not only the opposition. There are records to show that indeed members of government have worked against the regime they were part of”, he said.
He disagreed with the suggestions that intelligence is spying.
The onetime National Security Chief said monetary corruption is not as big an issue as what he called intellectual corruption, citing examples such as lies and condemnation of others.
