Zoko/kanga (UE), March 30, GNA – The chiefs and people of Zoko/Kanga Electoral Area in the Bongo District, have complained to the District Chief Executive (DCE), Mr Clement Akugre, that some contractors had undertaken shoddy work in the area.
They appealed to the DCE to visit the area and ascertain their claim, and cited that culverts and school blocks that were built by the contractors were already in deplorable state.
Naba Konpauga komenga, chief of the area, disclosed these in an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Zoko/Kanga on Thursday.
The Assembly Member for the area, Mr Alexis Ayamdong, commended the Government for establishing a Senior High School and a Police Station in the area.
He asked nurses and other health professionals to deliver good quality health care to the people.
Mr Ayamdong appealed to Government to extend electricity to all communities in the area to facilitate development.
