Winneba (C/R), July 31, GNA - The member of Parliament (MP) for Effutu, Mr Mike Hammah has appealed to wealthy Effutu citizens, organised groups and the general public to contribute to the 20 million cedis humanitarian fund launched recently by the Ebenezer Methodist Church.
The money is for the treatment of Florence Mensah, a pupil of Uncle Rich School in Winneba, who is suffering from a brain tumour. ''Since children are the future leaders of the country everything possible should be done to maintain their health.'' Mr Hammah said the condition of Florence required immediate attention, hence the call on philanthropist and sympathisers to come to her aid to enable the parents to raise the 20 million cedis needed for the operation.
