Accra, Feb. 28, GNA – Liberian side, LISCR are expected to arrive in Ghana on Friday, March 2, for this weekend's CAF Champions League encounter against Ghana's Premier League champions, Berekum Chelsea.

The two sides will face off in the second leg encounter of the preliminary round on Sunday at the Golden City Park in Berekum.

Nana Oduro Sarfo, Accra representative of Berekum Chelsea told GNA Sports in Accra on Tuesday that the Liberian champions have confirmed their arrival for Friday afternoon.

He said plans are advanced for them to be airlifted to Sunyani upon their arrival and thereafter to Berekum.

Nana Sarfo said they are looking forward feverishly to the match and are poised to play at the next round of the continental flagship event.

Chelsea who are debuting at the continental stage, won the first leg held in Monrovia a fortnight ago 2-0 with goals from Eric Agyemang and Jordan Opoku.

The League champions are the sole Ghanaian representatives in the continental Club Championships following the withdrawal of FC Nania from the CAF Confederation Cup due to logistical challenges.
