Mfantsipim School are champions of athletics competition

Cape Coast, Feb. 28, GNA - Mfantsipim Senior High School (SHS) came first with 141 to win the Central Region Inter Schools and Colleges athletic competition held at the Schools and Colleges Park at Adisadel on Saturday.

Jukwa and Adisadel Senior High Schools tied for the second position with 64 points each.

St. Augustine's College was fourth with 63 points while Aggrey Memorial Zion took the fifth position with 40 points.

Swedru SHS took the sixth position with 33 and half points, Winneba SHS was seventh with 32 points while Edinaman SHS came eighth with 28 points.

In the Girls division, Jukwa SHS bagged 139 points to lift the championship trophy and were followed by Wesley Girls High School at the second position with 84 points, Holy Child SHS was third with 60 points while Assin Manso SHS came fourth with 53 points.

Swedru SHS took the fifth position with 48 points, Mfantsiman SHS was sixth with 46 points, Apam SHS seventh with 45 points while Aggrey Memorial Zion SHS came eighth with 38 points.

Prizes and certificates were presented to deserving athletes.
