Mankranso (Ash), Jan. 31, GNA – The Mankranso District Health Management Team (DHMT) has taken delivery of medical items valued at more than GH¢ 30,000 to assist improve the quality of health care in the area.
These included hospital beds, drip stands, mattresses, syringes, needles, wheel chairs, crutches, cabinets, walking sticks, weight lifter and facemasks.
They were a donation from the “Dr Osei Foundation”, a Kumasi-based health NGO.
The Executive Director, Dr Samuel Osei, said it was their contribution to help bring quality health care to the people.
He said he had no doubt that the DHMT would find them useful.
Mr Reuben Bedzrah, the District Director of Health Service, said the equipment could not have come at a better time, adding, these would significantly help to address some of the challenges they faced including the inadequate health personnel in the area.
