Should that happen, he said, the purpose for which the project was decentralized would be defeated.

Mr Yakubu said the Upper West Region had always remained at the top in the management of similar projects in the past and called on members of the committees to put in more effort in the management of the current project to enable the region maintain its top position.

He also asked them to ensure the elimination of all land disputes in the region to attract investors to the region.

Naa Sohiwmininye Danaah Gorre II, President of the Upper West Regional House of Chiefs and member of the RPSC, pledged that he and his colleagues would work hard to ensure the success of the project in the region.
