
Benchama (W/R), Oct.31, GNA – Four armed robbers on Monday 24 October, robbed 23 passengers of their money and other valuables at Benchama Junction in the Juabeso District.
No arrests have so far been made and police investigations are currently underway to apprehend the robbers.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DSP) Ofori Donko, Juabeso District Police Commander, said the attack occurred at 0630 hours whiles the passengers were travelling on a Mercedes Benz bus between the Juabeso and Benchama junction and robbed their valuables which included mobile phones and undisclosed sums of money.
