Adelaide (Australia) (AFP) - Australia beat South Africa by seven wickets in the day-night third Test in Adelaide on Sunday.

Debutant Peter Handscomb hit the winning run as Australia chased down 127 for victory before dinner on the fourth day.

The victory ended a run of five Test defeats for the resurgent Australian side. The Proteas won the series 2-1.
