Accra, April 29, GNA - Dr Benjamin Kunbour, Minister of the Interior would begin a four-day working visit of the Ashanti Region from Monday, May 2 to Thursday, May 5.
As part of the tour, he would pay a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace as well as Dr Kwaku Agyeman-Mensah, Ashanti Regional Minister.
A statement issued in Accra on Friday said, Dr Kunbour would address the Regional Co-ordinating Council on the security situation in the Region after which he would visit the Regional Directorates of some of the security agencies.
These are Ghana Police Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Prisons Service and Ghana Immigration Service to interact with the personnel.
He would also visit the Regional Secretariat of the National Disaster Management Organisation in Kumasi and proceed to Obuasi and Ejura.
