I have read with dismay the shenanigans of various men within the New Patriotic Party of Ghana, the great osono. I have personally witness the degrading and downgrading and downtrodden of women within the party.
Let us set the record straight. Many Ghanaian men regardless of their political or religious orientation have the propensity to be polygamous. It is inherent in their culture. They do not know how to put their private parts in their pants and cross their legs. They love to have a wife or steady partner and then a concubine or two. The girls and women do not mind if they have a wife. They do not mind sharing.
There has been a lot of sex on the campaign trail. Let us look at some of the formidable women within the party - These days we do not hear much from Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama. She would have been a good vice-prez, however she succumbed to the male macho testosterone. She probably believed that by having a full blown open affair with the flag-bearer at the time, he would automatically select her as his running mate. That never happened.
It will serve as a lesson to other aspirants. Beware about sleeping around whilst on the capaign trail. It will not lead you to attain the power that you crave for and deserve. Work hard and you will shine
Let us now examine the pretty faces such as Otiko Djaba. Otiko was born in Tamale. She stood as a parliamentary candidate in the Bole-Bamboi area in Dec. 2008. She run a clean campaign and did not even want to criticise John Mahama, the current vice-president, who happens to be Otiko's cousin. She refers to him affectionately as her 'big brother'.
Much as that is all endearing and good for internal family relations, the author questions her divided loyalties. The lady is beautiful, articulate and speaks with some boldness and alacrity. Rumour has it that she was having an affair with one of the Ministers of the previous regime, then she also worked for Aliu Mahama at the castle as his personal assistant. She decided to escalate to greater heights after the elections when she decided to date the most powerful dick in town, that in the person of the former president, J A K 4.
Interesting that the two of them have a passion for the NPP and love to rumble and tumble whilst discussing party business.
Good luck to them. The politics of sex, lies and videotapes continues unabated. Let us all move forward in love, unity and bedmatics and together we shall gain victory as we reflect, rebuild and recapture power from the NDC.
As the popular saying goes: "Make Love, not war!!! " Good luck to all the candidates and aspirants with the primaries on Saturday April 30th.

Auntie Gladys I did not get the import of your article. Was it meant to help the women in NPP to stay away from the male candidates or to wash the party's dirty linen in public? Unless you had very credible evidence to tie the two ladies you mentioned to the affairs you claim, being that emphatic was not fair to them. It rather seeks to reduce their hard-earned reputation in the party and in womenfolk's agitation nationwide. This is giving ammunition to our opponents to denigrate them in radio an...
