Ejisu (Ash), April 8, GNA - The Association of Catholic Teachers of Kumasi Province of the Catholic Church (KUMPACT) has sent goodwill message to candidates sitting the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

They wished the students the "best of luck" and counseled them to do everything to stay out of trouble.

The message, jointly signed by Mr Eric Kyei, the Chairman, and Mr William Boakye-Baafi, the Coordinator, asked the candidates to avoid cheating and other malpractices that could ruin their education career.

It called on them to comport themselves and said the association was in no doubt that the hard work and efforts by their teachers would pay off.

The teachers urged their colleagues engaged by the West African Examination Council (WACE) to invigilate and supervise the two examinations to be vigilant.

They also appealed to the government to expand the infrastructure in senior high schools (SHS) to enable the successful BECE candidates to gain admission into the SHS without much stress and problems.
