Devtraco Limited, the Charles Yeboah Partnership, and Ghana Home Loans have agreed to sign a joint MOU to design, build and provide mortgage finance for a gated residential community in Kumasi. The target market for the project shall include both resident and non-resident Ghanaians who wish to invest in a well designed, safe home in Kumasi.

The project site is at Dominase, 15 minutes outside Kumasi on the main highway to Obuasi, and will comprise 60 detached three and four bedroom houses, a sports/leisure centre, and a swimming pool. The project is also just 5 minutes away from the exclusive International Community School, which provides state of the art primary and secondary education.

The parties to the agreement have all expressed a commitment to bring a new form of real estate development to Kumasi and expect this to be the first of many such projects.

The Charles Yeboah Partnership seeks to introduce international standards to real estate development in Kumasi. In particular, the Partnership wishes to deliver a solution that meets the demand for gated communities in the Garden City.

For their part, Devtraco, the award winning estate developer, wishes to leverage its immense expertise acquired from building first class gated communities sites in Accra and Tema to deliver a signature project in Kumasi.

Ghana Home Loans, the leading mortgage specialists, shall provide an attractive range of 20-year mortgage facilities to all prospective buyers who have financing requirements.

Construction at the project site is expected to commence in early 2011 and the first units shall be delivered to their owners by March 2012.
