Mpraeso, June 29, GNA - Mr Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, an aspiring Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2012 elections, will establish a welfare fund for all pooling station agents throughout the country if elected as the candidate.
He said though pooling station Officials played a major role for the party in elections their welfare had not been catered for during and after elections.
Mr Kyerematen said this when he addressed pooling station agents and supporters of the party at Nkawkaw, Mpraeso and Abetifi as part of his campaign tour of the Eastern Region.
He assured them that adequate campaign funds and other logistics would be sent to them directly to enable them to move to remote areas in the constituencies to canvass for more votes for the party.
Mr Kyeremanteng told the delegates that winning the 2012 election would depend to a large extent on unity within their ranks.
He said his policy of employment creation would put money into the pockets of all Ghanaians to relieve them of the hardship currently facing them.
Mr Kyerematen advised the youth who form 80 percent of the party's population to vote for a youthful leader who knows their problems.
