Hallo,

Ending Whose Slavery Blame-Game, Prof. Gates?

A friend forwarded the above article to me and I decided to contribute 3 things to the discourse:

1. Black Americans have turned backwards to explain their present status in American society, instead of helping to offer solutions to Africa's current problem. This is a very African reaction-blame the victim, and the past.

2. That Louis Gates Jr. has no business blaming Africans for a problem he himself is capable of, given a chance. He is busy fomenting animosity between Africans and African-Americans (over scholarships), instead of asking the fundamental question: "why are Black-Americans easily overtaken academically & economically by every other immigrant who comes to the US?

3. Africans (including Black-Americans) are backward, because of 'The Heritage of maize' (see WWW.nutritionafrica.com)
