Livingston County Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Chief Justice of Ghana, Her Ladyship Georgina T. Wood visit to Upstate New York with a dinner hosted by Chamber President, Cynthia Oswald and the Chamber Board of Directors.

"We were both pleased and honored to partner with SUNY Geneseo in welcoming Her Ladyship, the Chief Justice of Ghana, Georgina T. Wood to Livingston County and the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York!", declared Chamber President Cynthia Oswald. Her Ladyship was invited by SUNY Geneseo to serve as their annual Kenneth Roemer Lecturer on World Affairs. Chief Justice Wood spoke to a crowd of over 300 students, dignitaries and community members on, "The Dynamics of Law and Development in Ghana: The Case for Judicial Reform in an Emergent Democracy".

The Livingston County Chamber of Commerce has a Memorandum of Friendship for Business, Education and Cultural Development with the New Juaben Traditional Council and Municipal Council.

At the dinner the newly formed New Juaben Chamber of Commerce was recognized and the Interim President, Nana, Dr. Victor Berko Boateng, was presented two Leadership books for their Women's Leadership Committee by the American Association of University Women.
