Ho, March 30, GNA - MTN Foundation is one of the secrets behind the success of MTN-Ghana, Mrs Georgina Asare Fiagbenu, Senior Manager Corporate Communications of MTN-Ghana, has said.
She said MTN's commitment to support national development by implementing sustainable development projects through the MTN Foundation was one of the reasons for which the Company held on to its number one position religiously.
"Our education and health projects have been the benchmark of many companies with investment of well over two million Ghana cedis in just two years of the Foundation's existence."
Mrs Fiagbenu said this at an Editors' Forum and the Volta Regional launch of MTN's external newsletter in Ho.
She said the Foundation, with the responsibility of directing and managing the Company's corporate social responsibility, was touching and transforming the lives of people in communities.
Mrs Fiagbenu said the Company would continue to roll out new products and services tailored to meet the specific need of its customers.
She commended the media for its partnership and promised regular engagements with the media for mutual benefit.
Mrs Fiagbenu urged media practitioners to use the MTN newsletter to enhance their understanding of telecommunication issues and issues on the Company.
