The new executives included Mr. Samuel Okraku, Daniel Nana Addo Keene, Mr. Richard Maglo, Madam Millicent Addo, Mr. Christian Nana Ayisi and Benjamin Kumi as First Vice Chairman, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Women's Organizer, Youth Organizer and Treasurer, respectively.
Earlier, Mr. Dan Kwaku Botwe, Member of Parliament (MP) for Okere, told the delegates that the constituency elections were critical in events leading to the 2010 general elections.
He therefore called on the delegates to make choices of dedicated and selfless people who could organize the party for an eventual victory in the 2010 elections.
Mr. Yaw Gyekye-Amoabeng, Eastern Regional Chairman of the NPP, said votes recorded at Okere and Abuakwa South constituencies in last year's general elections, exceeded what was obtained in the 2004 elections.
He said the party needed to work hard and selflessly to wrestle power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2010 and that he noted, depended on the organization of the constituencies to win an unflinching support of the people.
