Accra, Dec. 11, GNA - Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo, Founder of the Kristo
Asafo Church, on Friday donated food items, home appliances and 2,000 Ghana
cedis to the Ghana Air Force as part of his contribution towards their
annual end of year party of the Force.
The items included eight bags of maize, four bags of rice, a bull, one
large deep freezer, one standing fridge and a 21 inch plasma television.
Dr Safo said the donation formed part of his annual contribution to the
Air Force and praised the officers for their contribution towards the
attainment of peace in the country.
He called on Ghanaians to be hard working and produce their own food
"since we have been blessed with fertile land by God".
Receiving the items, Air vice Marshall Simpson Oje, Chief of Air Force
Staff commended Apostle Dr Safo for the donation and his contribution
towards the socio-economic development of the country.
Air Vice Marshall promised to distribute the home appliances to other
departments of the Air Force that lacked them.
