Market Direct Ghana Limited, a company that deals in consumable products, over the weekend rewarded its hardworking and loyal employees for their contributions towards the outstanding growth of the company.
The management of the company presented cash and television sets to all selected workers for their commitment towards the company.
16 workers were awarded at the event; with Evelyn Obeng receiving the best worker award for 2008.
The General Manager of the company, Fouad Moufarrej at the end-of-year party organized by the company, commended the workers for their dedication, commitment and hard work, stressing that “the company since its inception in Ghana in 1999 had expanded tremendously due to the hard work of its workers.”
He said the company started with only 25 workers in Accra but could now boast of 234.
Mr. Moufarrej revealed that his outfit currently has 20 branches across the country with offices in all the 10 regions of the country, noting, “As part of our corporate social responsibility programme, we will continue to expand our branches to employ more people to reduce unemployment in the country.”

One of the factors that bust employee's performance is appreciation and reward. I think the board of market direct is adopting the right strategy to business growth. i suggest they should keep it up and keep on expanding so that we the graduates at home can also get employed.thanks.
