Palestine praises Ghana for support

The message comes in the wake of the 15th anniversary of the declaration of independence for Palestine by the late Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) founder, Yasser Arafat.

"The declaration succeeded in contributing to the creation of great historic opportunities that aided in stopping the bloodshed, pain and torment perpetrated on the land of the cradle of humanity's three monotheistic faiths, Palestine."

The statement praised the PLO for its positive and effective spirit during a series of negotiations on its demands since its declaration of independence.
