Accra will host 8 trade & investment summits from 30 November to 11 December 2009. These Summits are organised by Singapore based Magenta Global in collaboration with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, with the support of the Association of Ghana Industries and Ghana National Chamber of Commerce & Industry:

• Global Emerging Markets Private Investments & Investors International Summit, 30 November – 1 December 2009

• Africa Ports, Logistics & Supply Chain, 2 – 3 December 2009

• All Africa Food Crops & Agri-Investments Summit, 2 – 3 December 2009

• All Africa Energy Summit, 7 – 8 December 2009
• West & Central Africa Insurance and Financial Services Summit, 7 – 8 December 2009

• All Africa Mining Summit, 9 – 10 December 2009
• Mobile Payments, Remittance & Mobile Commerce Africa, 9 – 10 December 2009

• All Africa Mobile & Wireless International Summit, 10 – 11 December 2009

These events will be held at both the La Palm Royal Beach Resort & the Labadi Beach Hotel.

These important Summits will gather business leaders and industry professionals from Africa, Europe, USA, Middle East, and Asia to deliberate on the market developments, best practices, opportunities & challenges in key industries ranging from agribusiness to infrastructures (energy, ports, power), to resource developments (mining & energy), to trade including shipping & supply chain issues, and telecoms & mobile commerce. Discussion will also centre on the potential of Ghana as the hub for West Africa.

Hon Dr Kwabena Donkor, Deputy Minister of Energy will be officiating at the opening of the All Africa Energy Summit on 7 December. Also in attendance at this summit will be the Hon Prof Ogunlade Davidson, Minister of Energy, Sierra Leone & Hon Dr Eugene Shannon, Minister of Energy, Mines & Land, Liberia.

Hon Mike Allen Hammah, Minister of Transport will be officiating at the opening of the All Africa Ports, Logistics & Supply Chain Summit on 2 December.

Hon Nii Amasah Namoale, Deputy Minister for Agriculture & Food will be officiating at the opening of the All Africa Food Crops & Agri investment Summit on 2 December.
