Mr Boamah, a bussiness man, was accused by the officials of the airline of using fake passport, detained for several hours by the police in Egypt and eventually deported back to Ghana.

A test conducted on his passport by the Ghana Immigration Service subsequently proved that the passport is genuine one. The case has since been adjourned to november 30 and december 1 respectively.

According to Mr Boamah he purchase an Airline ticket from Egypt Air in Ghana in which he was suppose to travel to south Korea. However the airline took him to Egypt for a transit, but after 10 hours of sitting in his heels in Egypt, the officials of the airline told him that his passport is fake. He told this reporter that the airline officials did'nt tell him what was the problem but later got information from one immigration officer that he will be deported to Ghana because they have detected that his passport is fake.

He said that, on arrival at the Kotoka international airport, an Egypt air security officials who accompany Mr Boamah to Ghana handed the passport and ticket back to him, but this did not go down well with him and decided to sue the company for breach of contract.

When the passport was sent to the Ghana immigration service for confirmation they said there is no fault with the passport and they are wondering why this airline should deport someone without through no fault of his.
