Who Is My Daddy?

Aisha Taimoko, a high level caterer, who had connections with high level former government officials is on a bomb-throwing expedition, sweeping former Minister Oboshie Sai Coffie, ex-veep, Alhaji Aliu Mahama and several other casualties along her path.

The woman, who worked for former Minister Oboshie Sai Coffie, yesterday said that the ex-minister's best friend, Mrs. Afua Awugyato who convinced her to work for the ex-minister has a child, whose real father is the son of President John Kufuor and not the lady's husband.

According To Taimoko, Mrs. Afua Awugyato, who works for Image Consortium, told her in confidence that her (Afua's) husband, who works with one of the banks in Ghana is impotent and that her baby's actual daddy is one of the children of President Kufuor. Speaking to Radio Gold's 60 Minutes programme yesterday, Madam Taimoko, who got to work with Oboshie Sai Coffie through Afua Awugyato said that after she got pregnant with Kufuor's son, the baby was smuggled to her husband under the guise that she did artificial insemination.

Taimoko, who herself divorced her ex-husband for allegedly being a secret bisexual woman, challenged Mrs. Afua Awugyato to subject herself to a DNA test if what she was saying was not the truth. When reached by The Enquirer newspaper for her response, Mrs. Awugyato said “I don't want to make a comment. I have to find out what is happening and wondered why Taimoko would launch an assault on her. When the Enquirer pressed further by asking her: “So, you wouldn't want to deny it,” then Mrs. Awugyato stated: “it is not true, it's totally not true, it's absolutely not true.” Even though Mrs. Afua Awugyato did not accept the challenge of a DNA, she insisted that Mrs. Awugyato's allegations were not true. Mrs.

Aisha made similar allegations against the ex-Minister, saying that whilst serving as Minister, the likeable Oboshie Sai Coffie was behind her mother's company to do business structure to run business deals using the Taimoko. The two Ministries include the Ministry of Tourism and Diasporan Relations and the Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

Oboshie served in all the two Ministries. At the Kotoka International Airport, Taimoko said the ex-Minister was running a business called 'Café Aleemo,' which she said is a Ga name which means “No one knows.” At the Ministry of National Orientation, Taimoko said they run another business called “Orientation Kitchen. It is not yet clear whether the Minister was a sitting Deputy Minister of the said Ministries, when all these deals were ongoing. If proven to be so, the Minister would have been in the position of Conflict of Interest.

Madam Taimoko, who is known by many people associated with the ex-Minister Oboshie Sai Coffie and the Ministry of Information and National Orientation said, there have been several attempts to set her up when she began having problems with the ex-minister. According to her, there was even an occasion when her naked pictures were shown to her by some people she did not name, all in an attempt to cow her to shut up.

Even though she implicates the ex-Minister in the plot to blackmail her with her naked pictures, she did not provide any concrete evidence to back her claims. Madam Taimoko who claims to have several information of National Security value stated on the show hosted by Radio Gold's executive producer, Roland Acquah Stevens, that she was prepared to provide evidence on many things which occurred in the past. She made serious allegations against the former Vice-President, Alhai Aliu Mahama, the former Second Lady and some officers of the Military Intelligence. She remarked that the former Vice President was not even “Vice President of his own home.” By press time yesterday, all attempts by the Enquirer to reach Mr. Kufuor on his MTN number for his comments were unsuccessful.
