An Accra circuit court, presided over by Justice Ivy Heward Mills, has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Dakwariya, who boasted of turning two snake men (sakawa) back to normal human beings.

The 31-year-old Muslim cleric was to appear in court yesterday to answer charges on his alleged pronouncements in the media that he was capable of turning the two, out of four young men, from African pythons to humans.

Kofi Adjei, 28, Kwame Tetteh, 28, Yaw Goro, 26 and Filco, 23 were said to be masons and hailed from Sakyikrom except Filco who was from Teacher Mante in the Eastern Region.

The four pals, who had planned to engage in the money ritual business, were later introduced to Nana Ogya at Aburi.

Reports however suggested that had bought those snakes from a hunter who trapped the reptiles at Sakyikrom in the Eastern Region.

He then made up the cock and bull story that four young men had gone to the shrine of a certain Nana Ogya at Aburi New-Town for money ritual.

Police sources said all efforts to trace the said Nana Ogya had proven futile.
