In sports, Ghanaians are allowed to
compete with the people in the

Ghana in the field of education
permit these students to compete,

Ho, July 25, GNA - The Volta Regional Police Command says it has well rehearsed pre-emptive and fluid response strategies to tackle armed robbers who would enter the region during police chase in the Accra-Tema areas.

Mr David Ampah-Benin, Regional Commander, was addressing about 60 police officers at the end of a two-hour endurance walk on Saturday in Ho.

He said; “Volta Region would not be a haven for the fleeing rogues,” and that the police had scaled up its tactics to counter the menace of armed robbery, drug trafficking, internet frauds and other criminal activities throughout the country.

Mr Ampah-Benin reminded them that protecting life and property was the cardinal job of the police which they must pursue diligently.

He said the walk, which would be a weekly affair, was initiated to ensure that officers remained fit.

The Officers, from all police establishments in Ho, were taken through another hour of physical drills before dispersing.
