IEDCR had confirmed three more swine flu cases in Bangladesh.
The number of known infections in the country is 21, of the cases12 have been among women and 9 in men ranging 2 to 46 , Mahmudur Rahman, IEDCR director, said Sunday.
The three new cases were confirmed last week in people who had recently arrived from the UK and Canada.
The experts said the swine flu may out break in the coming winter with the increasing outbreak of seasonal flu.
The first case swine flu was confirmed in Bangladesh on June 19while the World Health Organization declared a global swine flu pandemic on June 1.
The government hadtaken proper protection measures, incoming international passengers are being screened for symptoms at Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet airports, Chittagong and Mongla seaports and 11 land ports, said Mahmudur Rahman, IEDCR director
