Host of Thank God It's Friday aired on local Metro TV, Kweku Sintim Misa has questioned Ghana's ability to harness the right resources for the purposes of development. (KSM)
He attributes that to visionless leaders who he said have lacked the strategy to develop the country.
He was speaking on Joy FM's Talking Obama, an almost uncoordinated two-hour programme as part of the build-up towards the historic visit by US President Barak Obama on Friday.
"Obama's visit is the third by a US President in Ghana. What is it they see which we don't see?" he asked.
The euphoria surrounding Obama's visit has been unprecedented.
At the heart of the presidency, across every street, at the centre of every market, classrooms, and along the coastline of the tiny West African country, the hymn has been sumptuous - 'Obama welcome.'
In the Sirleaf Johnson Hall of Data Bank, one of Ghana's foremost investment institutions, were lay men and women, well not exactly lay, to discuss everything and anything Obama, on Talk Obama
Kwesi Pratt Jnr, Editor of the Insight News Paper, Kwame Sefa-Kayi, host of Peace FM's morning show, Kweku Sintim Misa, an acclaimed satirist, Audrey Gadzekpo,Ag. Director, School of Communications, Legon, Ms Christa Essandes, an Associate Professor and African American resident in Ghana, Patrick Awuah, Founder of the Ashesi University and Kweku Sakyi Addo host of Joy FM's Front Page engaged in the stimulating talk show which delved into symbolism and impact of Obama's visit, his colour, and resonance to the rest of the world.

Oblivious of the fact that Obama administration did not even appoint a representative to Africa for weeks. Ignorant of the fact that America 's foreign policy has not changed from past American governments and Obama did not even care to craft a policy toward Africa as of yet. And oblivious of the fact that Obama has already paid visits to some of the least democratic and worst governmen...
