NEW: Ghana Tourist Villas offers an unforgettable holiday and business experience in Accra.
It has now been confirmed that former Presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Agyekum Kufuor will be part of the visiting US Leader Barack Obama's breakfast table during his forthcoming visit to the country.

The confirmation, which was made on the floor of the House of Parliament yesterday by Communications Minister, Haruna Iddrisu, ended a brief but noisy discourse over whether or not the immediate past President was really invited for the breakfast meeting.

All is therefore set for the two living past presidents of Ghana to join the visiting US President over breakfast.

The former President's Spokesperson, Mr. Frank Agyekum, also confirmed that their office had been invited for the breakfast and another interaction during a conference just before the visitor departs for home.

The two living ex-presidents recently met in Germany during a conference chaired by former President Kufuor, a meeting belying speculations that the two have not met since the National Democratic Congress (NDC) came to power early this year.

In another development, also on the floor of Parliament, former Greater Accra Regional Minister, who is the MP for the Central Ayawaso constituency, Sheikh I.C. Quaye, announced that he is embarking on an exercise to rid the city of all mosquitoes before the American President touches down on Friday evening.

Armed with what he said is an assortment of equipment, the Sheikh announced to hilarious cheers on the floor that he is going to spray dead, all mosquitoes in Accra in the morning of Friday before the US President's touchdown on Ghanaian soil in the evening of the same day.

Having invited the media to witness the operation, he said he is ready to massacre all man-eating mosquitoes, adding that all his equipment are ready for the operation.

The Sheikh's announcement was greeted with roaring cheers from both sides of Parliament, especially when he added that he does not want the visitor to return to the US with malaria.

The MP embarked on an anti-mosquito war when he was minister, having acquired some support from the Libyan government for the exercise along the line.

He has therefore, been associated with the destruction of the malaria transmitting insect which is responsible for many deaths in the developing world including Ghana.

Please, treat Ghanaians living in Accra also as Human Beings by always "embarking on an exercise to rid the city of all mosquitoes".Why do those in authority have to wait till a time like this?
Please, MP, after this, continue to do this for Ghanaians in Accra are also human beings.
